Apart from transportation to the island of Hvar, everything else is fully enabled on the retreat (accommodation, food, yoga course). There are various beautiful beaches and the Old Town (3 km) nearby, and the adventurous spirit can be complemented by bicycles or scooters to explore the surrounding places.

About the program:DHARMA YOGA MORNING PRACTICE
Two hours of morning practice for a mixed group of trainees who show different variations of yoga posture during the hour so that everyone can adjust to the practice and progress gradually. Dynamic Shiva Namaskar Vinyasa is included in warm up practice followed by asana practice. It is a process that stimulates the flow of vital energy (prana) through the spine and originates deeply in all areas of physical, metabolic, psychological and intuitive balance. It promotes concentrated harmony within all these layers to achieve radiant health. In the end, a deep relaxation awaits you. The lessons will be guided in several interesting ways (from traditional Hatha yoga, Vinyasa style and work with the energy body, chakras and nadis. |
PRANAYAMA & KRIYA PRACTICE
Pranayama is the conscious and willing management of life (prana) through the work of breath, which is an essential part of the practice of hatha yoga. Yogis believe that when we breathe, we receive not only oxygen but also prana, which is considered to be Divine energy that gives life to all living things. Pranayam is governed by prana and the main source of prana is breath. Breath is one of the most powerful means by which we can eliminate stress and almost 70% of the waste from our body. We will be doing various pranayama and kriya techniques, from traditional Hatha yoga to those in Laya and Kundalini yoga. Many pranayama techniques and its benefits are designed with special intentions (from changing consciousness, purifying auras, nadis and awakening chakras, to purifying, healing and health, raising body temperature, cooling, etc.). In this retreat, we go through the theoretical and practical part of pranayama, and eventually you will receive instructions for the home program. We will learn: what is prana (vital life energy), what are the main sources of prana for man and how we can use them, how prana flows inside the body, how nutrition affects the condition and quality of our prana, what is pranayama, about the internal movements of the breath and pranayama and their regulation, which are necessary qualifications to practice pranayama, awareness of the breath and the process of breathing at the physical and subtle level, how pranayama affects the mind (thoughts, emotions, focus), kumbhaka (breath holding) in a comfortable and proper way. bandheas (yogic locks) and mudras (yogic seals) as inward drawing techniques and powerful energy drivers in pranayama. The techniques taught at retreat are traditional Hatha yoga, kriya and kundalini yoga practices. They have been passed down for centuries, personally from teacher to student. They come from the teaching line of Sri Dharma Mittra and his guru Sri Swami Kailashananda (Yogi Gupta) of the Himalayan Yogi.

Yoga nidra develops the ability to visualize, which stimulates the activity of the subconscious parts of the mind. Yoga nidra can serve a variety of purposes, from deep relaxation of the physical body and mind, regeneration, self-healing, changing habits and patterns of character to spiritual experience.
The Psychic Development Technique is a unique psychic development technique and potential that will allow one to achieve peace of mind, control emotions, and reshape mental patterns that attract and determine circumstances in our lives. In the past 18 years, she has gained her knowledge of yoga from most eminent world spiritual and yoga teachers, such as Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Sacinandana Swami, and Sri Dharma Mittra. She is teaching traditional Hatha-Raja Yoga, in the lineage of legendary Yoga Master Sri Dharma Mitra, with a strong influence of Bhakti Yoga. For Sandra, yoga is a life choice, the path of self-discipline and self-realization. Throughout her many years of practicing various yoga traditions, she had the opportunity to meet various yoga practitioners and teachers. The accommodation is in a house specifically designed for a yoga retreat with a capacity of up to 8 people housed in beautiful colorful rooms with the Mediterranean spirit. HVARENO is 3 km away from various beaches and Old Town. It is possible to rent a bicycle (10 EUR per day) or scooter (20 EUR per day).
Arrival to Hvar is scheduled for Sunday 2.8. at 2 pm. Departure from Split, ferry line Split - Stari Grad at 11 am and last 120 minutes. Transportation to the house is organized by shared taxi (3 km from Stari Grad). The return is scheduled for Saturday 8.8. after morning yoga and breakfast, departing from Stari Grad by ferry line Stari Grad - Split at 11.30 am, in Split at 13.30. The ferry is accessible by organized taxi.
Check out of the rooms is at 11 am, if you want to go later from Hvar the ferry lines are further at 14, 17:30, 20 hours.

Rooms
Stone House
This traditional farmhouse dates from the 19th century. Designed for family life in the village, it had a main house, water wells and stone cottages to hold livestock and storage. There was room for cooking, making olive oil and wine presses. For many years the house was a ruin. Renovations included the renovation of stone walls and traditional wooden ceilings prior to the installation of plumbing, electricity, stone frames, wooden doors and windows, and modern conveniences such as private rooms and attic-style yoga studios. The bedrooms were individually decorated and furnished. The restoration shows the development of a completely devastated ruin to a very fine construction of several traditional connected stone structures.

Nearby are other towns and beautiful places on the island of Hvar that you can visit every day.
